Pentaglobin® contains all the important classes of immunoglobulin
circulating in the blood: IgG, IgA and IgM. IgM accelerates the phagocytosis
of bacterial and viral antigens. It neutralises toxins and autoantibodies,
activates and regulates the complement system.

1. Intraglobin F® Treatment of autoimmune diseases, safe

Normal Human Immunoglobulin for intravenous use
Intraglobin F®, functionally intact and well tolerated, contains
the antibody spectrum of the normal population in a 5-fold higher
concentration.

Haemaccel
Indications:
- Volume deficiency shock
- Loss of blood
- Volume losses during and after surgery
- Compatible water soluble drugs may be infused in Haemaccel

Contra indications:
History of anaphylactic reactions
Special precautions in cases such as :
Increased stroke volume , elevated blood pressure, where there is
increased interstitial fluid conditions like congestive hart failure
, hypertension,
pulmonary oedema.
Patients with an increased risk if histamine release, or patients
who had received a drug which releases histamine during the previous

days.
Preserved blood should not be mixed with Haemaccel.
Dosage:
Rate of infusion is controlled by monitoring the blood pressure .
Drop count can be controlled from the following formula;-
Intended amount of infusion in ml divided by 4 x intended infusion
time in hours.
Example: 500 ml =125 drops per minute
4 x1 hour
In emergencies , where immediate volume replacement is indicated infusion can
be done rapidly (e.g. 500ml in 5-15 minutes)
Reactions caused by histamine release can be reduced by prophylactic use of
H1 and H2 receptor antagonists (e.g. CImetidine -10mg/kg i.v.).
Adults:
Loss of blood or plasma.
Shock prophylaxis 500ml 1500ml
Volume deficiency shock max 2000ml
Blood pressure is the parameter of reference. Haemaccel may be mixed with saline
, glucose, ringers solutions, corticosteroids , muscle relaxants, barbiturates,
, vitamins, streptokinase and antibiotics of the penicillin series –provided
they are water soluble
Side effects:
Transient skin reactions, tachycardia, bradycardici, nausea, vomiting
- hypotension
