Poseidon Fish Probes

Kreatech Biotechnology has been a premium manufacturer of probes for fluorescent in situ hybridisation (FISH). For many years Kreatech produced FISH probes for companies as Qbiogene, Cancer Genetics, Master Diagnostics, Macrogen and various hospital laboratories (University of Groningen, Univ. of Leiden, Univ. of Utrecht).

Kreatech is proud to announce the release of a new range of FISH probes, which are offered under the name Poseidon. These probes are based on new regions and clones identified for example by genomic micro-arrays and verified by the Human Genome Database. The Poseidon FISH probes are specific for regions of interest in cytogenetic diagnosis.

The introductory portfolio contains a whole range of Satellite enumeration probes, Whole Chromosome Paints and Subtelomere probes, locus specific probes for the analysis of ploidy in prenatal diagnosis and detection of microdeletion syndromes.
A great range of Oncology probes is offered for a variety of Leukaemia and Lymphomas providing prognostic or diagnostic information for patient treatment.
The offering includes also a range of solid tumours optimised for work on tissue sections and provided with specifically developed buffer systems to give excellent results on difficult samples.

The Poseidon probes are accompanied by special reagents kits to provide excellent results.
